like every other huge software company , also microsoft tries to restructure - 60000 jobs will be gone, roughly one quarter of their workforce 1, at least a package for everyone to survive the AI apocalypse on the job market for another year, proton mail does it differently: re-interviewing employees to check if they are ready for the AI job. I doubt this would be legal in germany 2
